In order to support your planning application, you will need to provide a location plan. Your local authority's planning office can advise you on how detailed this should be. They will express this as a map scale; this will be 1:2500, 1:1250 or sometimes 1:500.

Whether you are a private individual or a commercial developer, our large scale product OS Sitemap® will enable you to fulfil this requirement. It clearly shows the outlines of buildings and roads. When you order it, you can specify exactly where the centre of the map should be, so you only pay for what you need.

OS Sitemap is available on paper, which is ideal for domestic planning applications. Business users may prefer data files that can be opened in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
